Dear Friends,

I have made the very difficult choice to end my campaign for U.S. Congress in Colorado's 7th Congressional District.

We have stood firm and carried a message for true conservatism in this race and I am honored at the support that we have received from across the District and around the nation.

While I have truly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people, I have come to the conclusion that this is not my year and I will live to fight another day.

For now, I will return to my private business of promoting concerts and events. (www.JimmyLakey.com) I am also excited to reengage with our global humanitarian efforts to help orphans. Our Republic is at risk and must be defended, so I am not closing the door on future political involvement. We will see what the future holds.
